What did your wife do for you?
Ever since the purchase of the new vehicle. My husband has been taking it upon himself to brag about his wife. His wife being me. He's cute sometimes, when Im not contemplating shoving a screw driver through his skull.
He goes to the local pharmacy to pick up his prescriptions and he talks to the pharmacist. He's very in to supporting our local stores like that. He says Good Morning Mr. Mike. My wife loves me very much. Mr Mike smiles his pharmacist smile. Rob then says, my wife loves me so much she bought me a new truck. What has your wife done for you lately? Mr. Mike burst out laughing. He just never knows what Rob will come out with. That's one of the reason I love him, you just never know what Rob is going to do or say next. Apparently Mr. Mikes wife did not buy him a new truck.
On to the local support. When we started looking for a new vehicle, we had to go look for it because we knew another great deal like the one that fell in our laps with the Saturn wasn't going to happen for us. We searched online researching what we wanted, using even CarFax. We made a decision on exactly what we looking for and Rob agreed if I wasn't happy with the deal, we'd walk no questions asked by him. Which works for me. I wanted to make sure we could eat after we bought the vehicle. Oh and pay our rent because while it's roomy, it's not that roomy. His request was that we bought American (he really wanted a Ford like he had when we first met)and for us to buy it from as local a dealer as was possible. Seemed reasonable to me. It's all worked out so far. Course we haven't put our first thousand miles on the vehicle yet and haven't made our first payment. But, so far, we're very happy.
