Paul's mother sees the vascular guy

Pauls mother took a field trip to see the vascular guy. She left her rehab center in the morning and headed over to see the vascular guy. We were not prepared for that vascular guy had to say. Apparently although Paul’s mother appears to be doing well, it is not as it seems. She is actually doing horribly bad. She cannot have the surgery because she will die, if she doesn’t have the surgery she can die. So we chose can over will. Just seemed like a good idea.Paul’s mother also needs 24 hour supervision. She cannot be alone. It is that serious. Apparently the risk of a deadly stroke is very real. She is having TIA’s which are basically mini strokes but so far, she’s holding her own. However, is she shows any signs of facial ticks, facial sagging or any other signs of a stroke she is to go directly to the hospital. Do not pass go, do not collect $200! The vascular guy wanted Pauls mother admitted to the hospital under 24 hour care. My sister P had to sign a contract with the man so Paul’s mother could stay home. She had to state my mother would have someone there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and that P would get time away. Which of course she shall. She is giving up a lot to stay there and take care of Paul’s mother. I shall go down and stay overnight so that P can get away for the night and part of the next day.We already have help lining up to take turns. Now you wonder, why would we take the risk and bring her home? Paul’s mother’s mother died in the back of an ambulance on her way to rehab, all she wanted to do was go home, but noooooooooooooooo she had to go to rehab. So, Paul’s mother wants to be at home, well that’s where she shall be!
