People amaze me..
Okay I know it's been awhile since I've posted. But see people read this and so it makes me not censor what I say, but take deep thought. Apparently too fucking deep since I haven't posted at all. Hopefully I can get over this and quickly because this has always been an amazing outlet for me.
How do people amaze me? Well it's parents really. How can you on all that's good and right in this world blatantly lie to your child? What purpose does it serve? Now I'm not talking about the little white lies we all tell, like your finger will fall off if you pick your nose or keep making that face and your face will get stuck like that. I'm talking about big honking lies. What amazes me even more is when you're lying to your kid and not informing your current partner of the lie so you both look stupid. At least be on the same page, make the effort to lie effectively. We can't send out your Christmas gifts because we have no money. See our pictures from the big party that we hosted with tons of food and booze?! Okay so the 24 year old can get over not getting a Christmas gift, but can they? When you haven't been a part of their life for most of their life? I see your partners grand-children got their gifts. Hmm did your granddaughter? Nope! Again, wouldn't matter if you didn't say, can't wait to spoil her thank you so much for allowing me in her life. Are you kidding me? You wonder why this kid has issues? Maybe it's all the lies, bullshit and double talk he's gotten for his entire life. Don't say we're sending gifts for Christmas and then say oh we can't cause something came up and then show pictures of you giving out other gifts and hosting elaborate parties. Makes you look stupid. And before you say it, IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY! The 24 year old and his child don't need for a thing! Luckily he's in a family now where when we say, we'll do this, we do it! When we say, what would you like, we get it. When we say we love you and are glad to have you in our lives, we mean it and show it in our actions too!
Keep fucking up, keep lying and being the douchebag you have been. You can exit his life as quickly and as quietly as you entered it. You'd be impressed how fast phone numbers can be changed!
